BABA MISS FORTUNA simply portrays the life of two elderly women who have been living together for quite some time. They may be lovers, they may be friends. It’s the memories of their salad days that bonds them. Grooving on the dancefloor or simply smoking a joint with each other and having the most random yet poetic conversations at 3 am. It’s a peepshow, without the sexual context and takes place in their living/dining room. It’s hilarious yet moving. Just two elder women who’ve come of age where they experience the misfortunate events of the ripe old life, but still followed by the reminder of their young selves being very much present in themselves as well as in their surroundings.

Nicole Kečić & Mila Haberkorn zijn studenten drama aan het RITCS in Brussel. Op het jaarlijkse solo festival onstond er een spontane samenwerking tussen de twee makers met als gevolg de geboorte van BABA MISS FORTUNA. De voorstelling verscheen ook op het MaydayMayday Festival te Gent. Na verschillende succesvolle opvoeringen besloten we een collectief te starten, INTERN CONFLICT.
