In today's fast-paced world, flooded with information, fake images, and social media, one thing stands out: friendship. After living in Belgium for just two years, I have realized that my life here lacks friends, those close connections; this is one of my realities. In my opinion, genuine face-to-face interactions hold immense value. Through my art, I hope to encourage people to treasure their relationships, recognizing how important they are in our lives.

In this painting, I depict a scene of two friends sharing a moment, whether peaceful, happy, or sad – it does not matter. What's important is the warmth it brings to their lives. I tried to paint a bright scene in order to evoke a sense of coziness and emphasize the comfort and joy that comes from being with friends.

This time, I tried a different style, one that is more impressionistic than my usual approach. It marks a departure from my typical style and perfectionism, but I found it beneficial both for myself and for the painting.
