Echoes of Peaceful Kyiv Walks Through Time.

The spatial requirements for the work are highly flexible and can be scaled according to the available venue. Visuals: Ideally, a projection or a large screen (min. 50-60 inches) is preferred to capture the atmospheric detail. However, the work can also be presented on a smaller monitor if space is limited. Floor Space: The installation requires only enough space for 1–2 people to stand or sit comfortably in front of the display (approx. 2–4 m²). Adaptability: The setup is "plug-and-play" and can be tucked into a quiet corner or integrated into a larger shared space, depending on the overall curation.

Provided by the Artist: Digital audiovisual file (High-quality MP4/MOV). Technical consultation for the setup. Requested from the Venue (Technical Requirements): Playback: A media player or a computer capable of looping a 26-minute HD video file. Visuals: A TV monitor (50"+) or a video projector with a white wall/screen. Audio: High-quality headphones (preferred for an intimate "city walk" experience) or a pair of active speakers if the area is quiet. Furniture: A pedestal (sokkel) or a small table for the screen/monitor and a chair or bench for the audience. Cables: All necessary power and signal cables (HDMI, etc.) to connect the playback device to the screen and audio.

In "Echoes of Peaceful Kyiv," I invite you to experience the city not as a static map, but as a living, breathing organism. My work explores the urban environment as an acoustic microbiotope, where every footstep and shifting color contributes to a unified musical ecosystem. By using sonification, I transform the everyday pulse of Kyiv into immersive soundscapes, revealing the hidden harmony within urban noise. This project is a journey through sonic memory—a reflection on how the invisible layers of a city adapt, interact, and resonate as a single collective voice.
