Caprice: a sudden, unpredictable condition, change, or series of changes
Caprices is an ongoing exploration with my handmade box. The box, both camera and darkroom, allowed me to create and develop images on-site. After two months of walking and sleeping beside the box across the Balkans, it became more an anchor than a camera.
Each image is created by unpredictable changes: chemicals, thoughts, and nature’s elements in motion. The box transformed each of our environments—internal and external, fragile and absorbent—into stillness. As resting images in my hands.

I photograph, write, and watch chemicals dance. With or without my self-made camera box, I search for fragility in vision. A process that stumbles, resists, and shifts. In a language of light leaks and paper edges, I follow what breaks, escapes, and refuses to stay still.
With a background in clinical psychology and studies at LUCA School of Arts, I explore how perception fractures, dissolves, and reshapes—a thread that runs through all my work.
